Bauhaus takes on a contemporary space
KAVA is an organisation that supports and defends the rights of Pharmacists in the province of Antwerp (Belgium). The organisation is also the intermediate between the government and the pharmacies, taking care of money transfers for medical prescriptions. Pharmacists are invited regularly to the auditorium to attend informational as well as training events.
The HOWE furniture is used in both auditoriums as well as in meeting rooms. One of the main requirements for this project, aside from great comfort and impeccable design, was to have a chair with a detachable writing tablet. For this reason, our 40/4 chair was an obvious choice.
It is worth adding that the architects were mainly attracted by the Bauhaus principles that inspired the design of our 40/4 chair. We love the final result of this cooperation. What do you think?
KAVA is a project in the city center of Antwerp. The existing building was extended with new offices, and new meeting and auditorium spaces.
